This RB42X rock breaker boom system is installed at a site on the west coast of Norway. Installed beside a primary jaw crusher, it’s purpose is to break boulders when they get stuck in the jaw crusher and to move rocks when there is a blockage in the feeder. Sold through our dealer, the customer is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of hard stone and granite aggregates in Northern Europe, providing high-quality inert building materials from production facilities in Norway. This boom was also installed with our PP37 power pack and controls built into an operator stand.

The RB42X model boom is used for jaw crusher and impactor applications. It is designed and built to carry hydraulic breakers ranging in weight from 300kgs for small jaw crushers up to 1000kgs in weight for larger jaw crushers. When selecting any boom system its location is of important consideration. Correctly positioning the rock breaker boom will enhance the material flow and throughput of the crushing operation, manoeuvring material and breaking oversize boulders. The boom model is selected based on the hydraulic breaker size, the reach/area coverage requirement, the slew angle requirement and the duty cycle of the operation. In essence, enabling optimum production capabilities and equipment longevity.

Built to our exacting standards, the booms resist wear and damage when working in extreme locations where sand erosion, moisture/water, dirt or extreme cold is a factor. Our CE Marking Certification in conjunction with Quality and Manufacturing ISO9001 and ISO3034 is recognition of our outstanding workmanship and quality.
